What? 30 Years? YES! That's right. It has been 30 years since our reunion began in 1995 in Bogalusa, Louisiana. We are proud to share that the Rash-Hudson Reunion Clan has been coming together as a family unit for that long while other family reunions have struggled to keep their reunions going after the first gathering. You've heard that before from other people when they speak about their family reunion. What makes our reunion so special is our deep seated desire to play, pray, feast, meet and greet, learn our family lineage and share our personal selves with family we know or meeting for the first time.
We are keeping with the THEME from last year as we embraced a new spin on our reunion gathering from the pioneered traditional reunion of banquets, fun cookouts in the park and general reunion programming --- and some with guests speakers.
The 2023 Rash-Hudson Family Reunion was a fun-filled weekend vacation at a RETREAT that sat on the DICKINSON BAYOU in Dickinson, Texas. It was a beautiful 4-ACRES paradise with a fishing dock, paddle boat, swimming pool, trees and lots of indoor and outdoor lounging areas to chill and socialize with extended family. And boy did we PLAY. We had the opportunity to poll family who were there and after collecting tallies, Orlando, Florida won over Louisiana and Georgia.
Throughout the 30th Anniversary year, you will be engaged by scenes from the past, geneaological data, interviews -- basically a plethora of memories of how we have PLAYED together over the past 30 years. Stay tuned for upcoming reunion showcases -- some you may have seen or not... in either case, you will be reminded how soon time flies and how important it is for us to continue to share precious time with one another. We have crafted a loose and flexible itinerary which will give you and your family some time to vacate as you wish. Please plan to come on Thursday afternoon and leave on Sunday afternoon so that we can celebrate our theme and 30th Anniversary more completely.
